Of course, this also applies to users of the IndiHome service. No matter what type of package you choose, you must also ensure that your home Internet service is not compromised by anyone else by changing your password.

Especially for those of you who use Telkom Indonesia internet service, here are the steps you can take so that you can change the password for the wifi account on the internet service.

But before you go any further, this tutorial applies to IndiHome WiFi with a ZTE F609 router, the most common modem used for IndiHome internet services.

How to change the WiFi password in the IndiHome service

  1. Connect your device (computer or smartphone) to a WiFi network
  2. Open the browser and go to the page http://192.168.1.1/
  3. Enter the username and password used in the service, or enter “User” in both fields if you have not already changed them.
  4. Then tap the button Sign up
  5. Then select on the page that appears network, then enter the menu WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESSand open the submenu safety
  6. If so, replace it WPA passphrase with the new password, and then press Submit

In order not to be easily hacked, you will also need to change your internet network admin account which was originally the same user with the new username and password. To replace it, you can go to the menu administration.

Next, select the WEB user submenu from the menu Administration. Enter the old password in the field old password, then enter a new password in the field New password and Confirmed password, then press Submit.

In the meantime, for those of you who want to change the SSID name (the name of the wireless network you are using), you can go to the submenu SSID settings included in the network, on the menu WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS.
