(ROOT) Enhance Android audio output with Dolby Atmos

The audio quality on Android phones is now very good compared to the time of Java phones. Not all Android phones have very good audio output quality, but this can still be maximized with the help of an application. Of course, if you search the Play Store, you can find plenty of applications that, in the form of an equalizer, help maximize audio quality. Examples like Poweramp and Amplifier that have different tools to improve the audio output and feel the changes if the user is currently wearing a headset / headphones.

Most people are looking for a phone that can produce good bass sound, and this is not often found on low-end Android phones, but what if you can do it by tweaking the system? The answer, of course, is you can, and this requires a Help application that can maximize the audio quality and be 2x louder than before. The application I’m going to share is called Dolby Atmos, and only phones with root permissions can use this application as it needs to be re-installed to keep other components organized in the prepared directory.

Dolby Atmos, normally used in a theater, can now be felt on Android phones and this application has been shown to improve the sound quality than before. This makes the sound output much sharper and surround sound. The sound of the bass boom can also be heard without a headset and can be compared with other cell phones, certainly a cell phone that uses Dolby Atmos is much more jarring. Please also note that this application is not used to edit the equalizer of a music, but has been set in the application so that users can experience the experience of listening to music with good sound output.

Dolby Atmos cannot be combined with an equalizer-enabled music player application because it collides. and This app also has its own presets to choose from, for example for playing games, watching movies or playing music. The point is that any application can work with Dolby Atmos as long as no additional equalizer is set. The Dolby Atmos app is also very light and even better, it does not run in the background and is integrated into the system. Unfortunately, Dolby Atmos for Android still doesn’t support the gingerbread version and only works with Jelly Bean versions and above. Here is an example of an illustration of the application.

A volume is sufficient if the user is wearing the headset at this time, and If the user feels a rustling, this can be recognized by the poor quality of the audio file, and the recommended minimum bit rate is 128 Kbps, the higher the better. I myself use Flac format audio with a bit rate of 700 Kbps and the audio output with Dolby Atmos is very good. My previous phone was also not very good at outputting bass when playing audio as it seemed to make a “click” noise on bass unless a headset was used and now that I have used Dolby Atmos, the audio can output louder and the bass sounds better than before. The link above leads to the XDA forum, and simply click on the green “Direct Button” button to download it. I repeat that again The Dolby Atmos application is only available for Android version 4.3 (Jelly Bean) and higher. For the installation process, simply install the ZIP file directly via the recovery, and after the installation please restart and later the Dolby Atmos application will be installed and can be activated by pressing the power button at the top right.

The Dolby Atmos application can be installed very safely on the system and will not boot loop the phone as long as it follows the minimum version of Android described above. Uninstalling is very easy, users just need to download the file first Dolby Atmos uninstaller and install via restore, then restart. It is not recommended to uninstall Dolby Atmos directly through the application manager, as Dolby Atmos has different components on the system side and uninstalling it through the application manager will not completely uninstall this application. I can help users in the comments if they have difficulty installing or uninstalling the Dolby Atmos application. ️

Hopefully useful and good luck
