Nokia 7 header

Wednesday is of course one of the special days at Gadgetren, as articles in the workshop category are discussed here. It could be said that this category article will help gadgets overcome problems with gadgets, both software and hardware, that usually appear in daily life.

On that occasion, the editorial staff of Gadgetren was asked about an effective way to open a mobile phone if you forget your password. For this, the Gadgeter team will provide an explanation for this event with a solution.

Question :

How do you open a cell phone that has forgotten the password?

Answers :

Resetting your Android smartphone via “Recovery Mode” is very useful when you experience the following:

  1. When the android phone fails to start or just stops at the logo (usually called the android boot loop). This can have various causes, for example a faulty application or just installed application that is not compatible with the type of mobile phone (in most cases after installing the font changer).
  2. When the Android phone can be switched on but does not want to react to input from the user, for example does not want to be touched the Android screen or cannot access the phone / tablet menu.
  3. If you forgot your PIN or password, or made too many attempts to draw a lock pattern on your Android phone, resulting in the inability to enter the menu.
  4. Other Android software crashes.

In general, to perform a factory reset via recovery mode, you can follow these two simple steps. But first at your own risk, ok wink

Stage 1: Switch to recovery mode

To get into Android recovery mode, you must first turn off the mobile phone / tablet, press and hold multiple Android buttons at the same time (for example, on the Galaxy Young S5360, press the volume button + home + power button at the same time) and you will enter recovery mode.

How to enter recovery mode (the button to press) can vary from one type of cell phone to another. The recovery mode is only shown in the form of writing. And in recovery mode, you will generally not be able to use the touchscreen. To navigate up and down, you usually use the volume keys (depending on the type of Android phone).

Stage 2: Performing Wipe Data / Factory Reset

After you have successfully entered the recovery mode, all you have to do is select the “Erase data / factory settings” function and then restart your mobile phone.

So that you don’t get confused, here is an example of a factory reset on an Android phone:

  1. Make sure that the battery is still sufficient (at least 70%)
  2. Switch off the mobile phone
  3. Press and hold the volume up button + the HOME button (middle) + the power button at the same time for a few seconds> you will enter the Android recovery mode
  4. Use the volume buttons to move the mouse pointer over it until “Factory reset / delete data” is displayed.
  5. Press the HOME button to start the process> please be patient while the process takes place
  6. Restart the phone

So, if you find boot loop on your Android phone or forget your password or pattern lock for Android phone, all you need to do is go into recovery mode> Factory data reset / wipe data. Now the problem is that a lot of people don’t know how to enter recovery mode on their Android tablet / phone which is cleaner and updated.
