How to Take Screenshots on All New iPhones Including iPhone X, XR, XS, and XS Max

Here's how to take a screenshot of the iPhone XR XS Max header

Gadgetren – For generations, Apple has launched iPhone devices without the front-facing navigation button (Home). Some of these devices include the iPhone X, XR, XS, and XS Max.

On some of these new devices, Apple is bringing a fairly new screen design – with a full screen with bangs on top, which inspires most smartphone companies to use it too.

As a result, many people get confused when they take screenshots on some of these devices. This is because on some older devices, from the iPhone 8 to earlier versions of the iPhone, only the volume and home buttons had to be pressed.

In fact, if you pay close attention it is very easy to take screenshots on these bangs-screen devices even without the home button on the screen. How do you do it then?

Here’s how to take screenshots on iPhone X, XR, XS, and XS Max devices

  1. Open the screen to take a screenshot
  2. If so, press Side button (the button on the right) together with the button volume up
  3. When the preview window (thumbnail) appears in the lower left, release the two buttons
  4. If you want to edit it e.g. For example, to add a picture or text, tap the thumbnail
  5. Or for those who want to share the screenshot results directly, users can also press the thumbnail
  6. However, if they want to close the thumbnail, the user can swipe left

After successfully taking a screenshot, users can view and edit the results through the photo application. In the application, go to the Albums section and select Screenshots.

As additional information, Apple recently presented the beta version of iOS 13 to the public. This new system will of course be available for a variety of Apple devices, including the iPhone X, XR, XS, and XS Max, among others.

But don’t worry, even if this new system brings improvements and various new features, the way screenshots are taken on different devices seems to stay the same.
