How to set up the MMS configuration on Nokia phones

MMS settings

Multimedia messaging, or better known as MMS, is a tool for sending content that is limited in size and file format. Not every file file can be sent through this message and only some formats are allowed, such as Pictures, music and videos and each of these files must also be a low byte size to be sent to the recipient.

All supported phones Multimedia message does not allow sending of too large content, possibly because the message is being sent from the connection of the access point connection and if the sending of the file is too large it will take too long to get to the destination. As on similar popular cell phones Nokia which is only limited to certain files, sizes and formats.

MMS access point acceptable to the user after activating the phone and the operator gives consent to the installation of the configuration. If it already supports network operators across Indonesia on Nokia phones, the card is immediately displayed in the configuration according to the network operator used when activated.

The MMS access point can also be changed to set your own Proxies and Ports (if any) and this is very easy for Nokia S60 users who don’t need to use prov files. And for Nokia type s40 users can also create their own access point and can use the prov file too.
Changing the configuration settings can be done quickly and easily. Please refer to the following procedure:

  1. First, set up a dedicated MMS access point and also a Nokia phone. Then go to the settings and change the language to Indonesian

  2. Next please go to the menu:

news => Message settings => Multimedia message => Configuration settings

  3. If on the menu Configuration settings, can select any access point and only select the one previously created. The multimedia message is then ready for use.

Simple, isn’t it ..? Most of the menus listed in the method above are on Nokia s40 phones and there are only minor differences on Nokia s60 viz no configuration menuso that when you enter the MMS settings menu, you will immediately be given the MMS access point select button to use.

MMS and GPRS basically have one small difference, namely the HTTP connection. MMS can also be used with hidden header content, making it a loophole for free seekers: mrgreen :.

Hopefully useful and good luck
