How to Install CWM Recovery Easily (ROOT)

Some Android phones must have provided standard cell phone restore, but the restore doesn’t have many features that are special for users who like modding. For example, if you want to change a custom ROM, flash an application via a ZIP update, etc. There are cell phones that already offer recovery, but there are also those that do not offer recovery and when the recovery is done it will only get Fastboot used. Most of the cell phones that do not have recovery installed are Spreadtrum based Chinese cell phones. But you don’t need to worry about that, because it is easy and straightforward to install yourself.

If you don’t know what recovery is? Recovery, in my opinion, is a shortcut that users use to do something when the phone is turned off. Can be used for certain times when the phone is having problems, e.g. B. Bootloop, and can delete data (hard reset), for example to remove a forgotten pattern lock. But when you install Movement mod (CWM) Recovery allows you to do more things, such as: B. Backup your Android phone including from system to original application on user phone, custom ROM and others. In fact, not only can CWM do more, but TWRP can do more, it’s just that a lot of people these days are using CWM because it’s easy to use.

This CWM recovery needs to be installed when your Android is in the status ROOT. Because because of bootlopp you no longer have to go to the switch to flash your phone, because you can restore the system from the backup you made and the phone and the whole system will be back to normal. Through this CWM, you can too Install upgradeable ZIP contains the files from the system, regardless of whether it is an application or another similar system Framework-Res or systemUI. Almost every mobile phone shares the CWM they use, and here I am not going to explain how to create CWM, but how to install CWM. Please refer to the following procedure to do this.

  1. First of all, download and install Mobile Uncle, please download it at the end of this article.

  2. Make sure you have prepared a CWM recovery file format .img. and save the file in the ROOT directory on the SDCARD, for example in “/ mnt / sdcard /“. If you don’t have the file, please search Google for your phone

  3. Then please open Mobile Uncle and click on “Recovery updates“And select the displayed recovery.img.

  4. If there is a notification, just click YES and wait for the process to finish. When the process is complete, the phone will automatically restart and be taken to the Recovery Mode page. If there is text above Movement mod, means that you have successfully installed CWM. And now if you try to scroll down and up with the volume buttons to click OK, you can use the power or home button. If you can, just click Restart the system, and your phone will be brought to the Android menu page as before.

  5. To get to the recovery page, please turn off your mobile phone and click the volume up or down button along with the power button on the mobile phone. If it doesn’t work, please search google for the code to get to recovery as every mobile phone has a different code.

The above method must be done patiently and there is no need to hesitate because this way is safeSo, all you need to know is whether it is working or not and by installing this CWM, make sure that there is enough space on your cellphone system so that it runs out of memory when it is installed. Please also note that installing CWM by itself does not make your phone a boot loop. Once you have it installed, please back up your phone.
