How to create an OpenVPN configuration with a manual subdomain

OpenVPN configuration with subdomain

There are several things that can or must be used by an OpenVPN, for some people it is more important to make it a security for the network used, for example WiFi. Using OpenVPN ensures that the connection is encrypted and that no data is stolen. It is necessary to secure the connection so that data such as passwords are not taken away by irresponsible people. But there are also people who use OpenVPN as an Internet network tweak so that users can enjoy it for free and of course violate the provisions made. This has to be addressed by the provider immediately so that users don’t commit fraud in any form, and one of them is using OpenVPN.

In this article I have There is no desire to optimize the Internet network so that it is free, but share how to create OpenVPN with its own subdomain. This is actually part of the tweak as well, but I’ll cover it more in this article Change IP to host using DNS and change something that is in a file of the type .ovpn. So you can have this as an experience so that you can change the IP in the OpenVPN file as a subdomain as you like, all for free.

With Using OpenVPN cannot speed up the internet connection, since its use is only for the protection of privacy and can be used to visit websites that have been blocked by operators. And by using this subdomain, you can hide the IP of the location where the VPN server is located. With OpenVPN, users can do better network switching, just like SSH, which can change the header and put something in the ovpn file, can use passwords for authentication, and has various functions. Someone has from TCP and UDP and both are equally good.

When creating a subdomain, I provided it right here from the site FastSSHwhich also includes an SSH provider but also has a feature to redirect IP to a subdomain, can be used to hide IP or something else. And I use the services for OpenVPN myself VPNGatebecause to use it without logging in and have a fast server, with the intention that when using it, a slow network cannot occur even if the connection is stable without a VPN. As explained above, every VPN cannot speed up the connection, it can slow down by 1% due to the connection encryption process and sometimes every VPN limits the maximum data overhead. The following describes the procedure for creating OpenVPN with a subdomain, see below.

  1. First of all, go to the VPNGate site and find the correct country for Koneski encryption. If so, please look at the right side of the table and click the link OpenVPN configuration file

  2. Then a page will appear and please scroll down and download the .ovpn file in the section The .ovpn file that contains the IP address and copy the IP address into the editor. The IP address is for example 100,233,433,555

  3. When the .ovpn file has been downloaded and the IP address has been copied. Now go to the FastSSH DNS site.

  4. On this page you will find several columns in which Hostname For example, please fill in the subdomain blogsecond.com.openvpn

  5. Then im IP address Please enter the IP copied by VPNGate, then into the domain Please select the domain you want, for example I choose ZXC.PM.

  6. Partly For Tere Please select NO only. Then click the button Create my hostname. Then the results of the subdomain appear, my example is blogsecond.com.openvpn.zxc.pm Please copy the subdomin and save it in the notepad.

  7. Now please open the .ovpn file you downloaded from VPNGate and scroll down and find the words Remote IP was PORT. For example like this Remote control 100.233.433.555 31234 The text after the remote control is the IP and the text after the IP is the port. You don’t have to change the port and simply replace the IP with the subdomain beforehand.

  8. And to change the IP to a subdomain, please delete the IP first and add the subdomain, then the example result will look like this. remote blogsecond.com.openvpn.zxc.pm 31234 And done, just save the .ovpn file and run it with OpenVPN Connect.

The above method looks complicated, but if you practice it right away, it will feel less and faster. If you do it once, then once you do it and get used to it, it’s definitely a second time. The above method is easier because does not require registration as on websites that offer free subdomains and DNS redirection. And to choose OpenVPN it has to be on OpenVPN that has no authentication, such as. B. writing a user name and a password, for example an IP on VPNBook, this can be used immediately.
Some people may still feel confused by the above method, and if you have any problems or questions, please comment

Hopefully useful and good luck
