How to Compress Live Video on Android Phone to Save Space

How to Compress Live Video on Android Phone
- First, download and install the Panda Video Compressor app from the Google Play Store
- Once installed, open the Panda Video Compressor application on your smartphone or mobile phone
- On the main page of the application, select the video you want to compress
- After the video is selected, press the button Next bottom right in the app
- On page Set sizes, You will be shown the resolution, size and name of the video.
- You can also choose different types of compression according to your needs
- For example, I made a decision Large files (just compress) because it still maintains the actual resolution and is of good quality
- After selecting the compression type, press the button compress bottom right
- The application will display the compression process with a percentage from 0% to 100%
- After the compression process is completed, you will be presented with the compressed video results page
- On this page you can compare the results, see the size of the original version of the video with compression, menu share share with others and menu Save on computer to save it on your mobile phone or smartphone
Even though I use the Large File (Just Compress) compression type, this application can compress the selected video to a smaller size than the original version. With this application, you can compress not only one video but also multiple videos at the same time directly.
In the meantime, if you want to compress the video even smaller, consider using a compression type other than Large File (Just Compress). The following types of compression are offered in the Panda Video Compressor application:
- Small files (simple sharing) – allows a very small compression of the video size with a low resolution of up to 360 x 640 pixels.
- Medium files (better quality) – It is of standard quality with an average resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. It could be said that the quality of the compressed video still looks good.
- Large files (compress only) – the compressed video quality can be almost the same as the original version because the resolution remains the same.
- Adapt to email – the application optimizes the resolution and quality so that the size is suitable for sending via email
- Custom Resolutions – Users can adjust the length and width of the resolution of the compressed video as desired
- There is also a choice of video compression down to resolution 240 x 426 Pixels or 360 x 640 Pixels that naturally make the file size smaller than the original version.
