To make this easier, WhatsApp officially announced a new feature called Click to Chat some time ago. With this new feature, users can start a conversation on WhatsApp without having to save the other person’s phone number.
To do this, the user only needs to know the active WhatsApp phone number of the other person, then he can create a link via which WhatsApp messages can be sent to the person concerned.
How do I create a WhatsApp link so that you can use the click-to-chat feature?
Creating a click-to-chat WhatsApp link is also very easy. Users only need to use the format https://wa.me/ followed by the WhatsApp telephone number to be addressed.
But for the record, the phone number must be written in accordance with the international format. For phone numbers in Indonesia in particular, users only need to replace the leading 0 with +62.
In addition, it is also important to note that the user must also remove the hyphens (plus or minus signs) and parentheses if previously recorded numbers have used these characters.
For example, the user wants to create a link for their own number with the number 081234567890. So the user just needs to change the previous format to URL https://wa.me/6281234567890.
