In addition, the Zoom application is quite stable and does not consume too much bandwidth in face-to-face meetings, discussions, or videoconferencing with other users. But to make a professional impression at an important conference, sometimes you need to change your account name so your opponent clearly knows who you are talking to.
To do this, we just need to change the account name that will appear on the Zoom site or application during a video conference. If you change the name of this account, you will need to change it directly on the Zoom official website.
How to change the name of Zoom
- First, go to the login page on the official Zoom site
- Sign in with a Zoom, Google, or Facebook account
- In this case I am using a Google account by pressing the button Sign in with Google
- After pressing the button, Zoom will ask you to select and enter a Google Account
- After the Google account is selected, you will be redirected to the page profile Zoom account
- Next, select Menu profile in the category personally
- You will then be presented with various data relating to your Zoom account
- At the top of the data is an account name that will be shown when we have a video conference on Zoom
- Next to the account name, press the button To edit change name
- Next you can change the name of the column First name, Last name, and display name
- If we just want to change the account name that appears on Zoom during a video conference, we just need to change the name to display name only
- However, if you also want to change the account name, change the name in the column First name and last name
- When you have finished changing the account name, press the key save Changes
- Congratulations, now our account name has changed to Zoom
After the name change process is complete, you can directly log into the conference or meeting that is taking place from the Zoom application or site. When entering the meeting, the account name changes automatically according to the previous entry.
Changing the name in Zoom is pretty easy for users, so it can be customized to suit your needs. However, it is a good idea to only use your real name so as not to confuse the other person.
